Directors


Law in Schools has "directors" in each region to run day-to-day operations.

The directors of Law in Schools in 2011 are:

Arun is in his penultimate year of conjoined Bcom (Marketing and International Business) and LlB (Hons) degrees. He has special interests in media, international and commercial law. In addition to responsibilities as a director of the Law in Schools initiative, he also tutors High School Students in a range of subjects.

Maithili is a student of Law and Political Science who is particularly interested in international law and human rights. She hopes to carry forward her knowledge and skills to developing countries in order to achieve equality in rights for men, women and children.



Amelia graduated with an LLB(Hons) and a BA in History and Philosophy from Victoria University. She has tutored law since 2007. She currently works as a clerk for the Hon Justice O'Regan, President of the Court of Appeal. She got involved in the Law in Schools programme after working at the Wellington Community Law Centre and realising that there was a real need for people to be educated on day-to-day legal issues.

Natasha has been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor, and holds a LLB (Hons)/BA degree from the University of Canterbury. She is a barrister operating from Thorndon Chambers.
